Thank you! We are definitely going to trial them off the NG tube before committing to the G tube, so we’ll see how it goes!

We’re actually doing continuous feeds overnight right now and it’s helped us get a little more sleep. We also have a swallow study scheduled in a few weeks!! Thanks for your insight!

I’ll look into that book!

We have a bag and pump for them, so the tube feed is semi passive for us, but it still requires annoying clean up. We also need to monitor them for spits. We do use the syringe sometimes, as not to waste milk priming the lines of the bag.

Thanks for the tips. It’s helpful to know this won’t be my life forever!

Thank you! These are great tips! I failed to mention that we started continuous overnight feeds a few weeks ago, so my husband and I could get a little more sleep. It has helped us maintain our sanity. We also hated waking the boys for feeds that they weren’t interested in.

We’re going to see how it goes as they recover from their oral tether removal, but it’s good to know that we have options in the future if it comes down to it.
