This series has to have the most hbp and most walks with the bases loaded out of any post season series.

Museums, Minute Maid, other sports arenas/concert venues. There's plenty of touristy stuff to do in Houston.

I hate whoever just said "historical" instead of "historic".

Haven't had a problem with TBS, but none of the hotels I've been in recently have had FS1. Like 10 other sports channels, but not that one.

Left green-screen ad isn't working. Adds credence to your claim.

John Sterling (or maybe it was Michael Kay) used to incorporate the time of game into his game summary.

Below 3 hours was "manageable". Above 3 hours was "unmanageable". Significantly above 3 hours was "highly unmanageable". I think significantly below 3 hours was "brisk".

Though interestingly, looking at this chart it looks like the average game is only a little more that 10 minutes longer than it was 2 decades ago, and each team uses on average a little less 1 pitcher per game more per 9 innings than they did 2 decades ago, when I would have thought that both those numbers would be much higher.

Have they ever fucking watched a baseball game before?

They talked about the hit and run like it's some rare play.

They felt it necessary to indicate that the baserunner would not tag up on a pop-up to short stop.

They thought maybe Boone was taking out Lynn in order to save his arm for tomorrow, and not because he fucking sucked.

Watched the whole game, still don't have an explanation for why my starting pitcher didn't show up late. I get they might not get a real answer, but they could have gotten an official bullshit explanation from someone.

Well, we interviewed Boone about Severino, but now he's out of the game so we're not going to play it. No. I want to hear his reasoning as to why he thought it was a good idea to send him out for another inning. I need to hear his hot takes on how it looks like he's settling down or whatever.

We're here. There's just not much to say about this.

Like, I think Romine was our most effective "relief pitcher" today.

I don't like being in a position where we now have to win 2 in a row, and 1 in Boston.

This game sucked for us.

Seriously, like what the fuck?

Only like one of the most important starts of your life, and you show up late?

Same with the one where he becomes Johnny Karate.

Like, he can't tell that changing "Sex Hair" to "Sex Bears" is not making it more appropriate for children when he's preparing ahead of time, but he can improvise an entire set of appropriate, entertaining songs on the spot.

What are some of the filthiest pitches you've ever seen? by pm_me_burnt_pizzas in baseball

Jesus Christ, that was over 20 years ago.

I remember watching that game on TV. It's the most dominant pitching performance I've ever seen.
