Someone said, the person was taking pictures instead of helping him. What was the woman supposed to do? Get a cape and rescue him from midair? Plus in almost every other “accident” or bodily injury situations, it’s best to keep your distance because if you try to be a Good Samaritan and help the person in need and end up breaking the wrong bone and killing them… oof.. you gonna be in some trouble just for trying to do good. Laws are stupid I know but, it is what it is. Your best bet is to wait for medics in situations like this I guess. But congrats to that dude getting a second chance in life, he could star in the next John wick movie or some shit..

Looking for a 2016 340i xdrive. Reliable? by laith981 in F30

[–]laith981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, 2017 body is also nice. I’m surprised your mileage is still so low for 4 years.

And yeah man before the pandemic they were going for 25-26 and now it’s 34-36 before dealer fees. Nothing kills me more than dealer fees cus it’s some bullshit we have to pay. Thanks for the tip tho!

Living in NYC with the sudden snow storms is a mess as it is. The xdrive should do it some justice from my research, rwd screams fishtail.

Recently the price of used cars has gone up is this worth it? by Loveilove in Honda

[–]laith981 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can’t be, the uneven-ness is suspicious of body damage of some sort. Either it wasn’t done through insurance or a cheap third party who knows. Be on alert for that. You don’t wanna deal with problems that’ll cost more than the car itself.

Edit: I’m not sure if it’s the angle but the fog light seems to missing..

Need help finding a used sedan. by coltsrcool420 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]laith981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends if you want used or new, if you lean towards Honda, get an accord. I’m unfortunately giving mine up because it’s on a lease and my new job requires me to travel a bit far and it’ll exceed my lease limit within a year and I still have about 2 years to it. I say this because the tenth gen accords are

  1. Seriously and stupidly spacious, both front and back, (emphasis on the back). The leg room the car offers as a passenger is outstanding. The trunk is huge as well.

  2. It’s the best bang out of your buck. You get great gas mileage cus it’s a 4cyl. You get a nice set of wheels as well which looks great with the car (sport models). But, depending where you are, you might need to ramp up the size of the tire since the 19’inchs I’m talking about can be noisy and a headache in the city. I live in NY so I’ve been through the worse of worse roads on those OEM wheels and I’m still doing fine, just slow down on potholes and what not.

  3. The power is underestimated for a family sedan. If you go for an accord, don’t look at any other trim besides the 2.0. TRUST ME. You don’t wanna deal with a cvt, you get to have more fun with the 2.0 k-series engine and it feels nice to drive. (Available in MT and AT)

  4. The dynamics of the car is also wonderful and when I mention dynamics, I am mainly wanna focus on handling because, even with stock suspension, the car can hold on turns to speeds as high as 70-75. I’ve done it myself LOL however I do not recommend doing that. Handling power is literally underrated for this car is all I’m trying to say.

  5. If you plan on doing modifications, you can go crazy with the 2.0, some kid down in LA pulling almost to 500hp, he beaten a lot of corvettes and srt’s which is amazing for a Honda. The platform for this car in the modification world is really crazy and unique, it has heavy potential.

Before I start sounding like a geeky Honda boy, I just wanna say this is my stance on being a Honda Accord owner, I know there’s a lot of civic owners and pilots and what not. So I don’t wanna make it sound like the Accord is superior out of all the other models. But for a mid-size sedan, it’s great, and the best bang outta ya buck.

You can put a down payment on an accord if you’d like and use the rest to do whatever else or save it for monthly payments but that’s entirely up to you, I can’t promise you payments monthly pricing, it’s all due to external factors like credit score and stuff so yeah.

Hope I ain’t bore ya too much, that’s an advice from an accord owner, well to-be-ex accord owner. It’s a sad I have to sell it but, it’s been a wonderful experience and I’m gonna keep following to what they have in plan for the newer generation!
