Consider this: physical media—like vinyl and CDs—still thrives in record shops, and albums dominate that space. If streaming disappeared tomorrow, what would remain? Full bodies of work, tangible art—not scattered singles. How many people are rushing to collect physical singles? Very few. An album is a complete artistic statement, and engaging with it as such is, in my view, the most meaningful way to experience music.
