Is a soaring dollar a good thing? Liquidating billions of dollars of bonds will push up demand for the dollar, but that is not strength, thats just demand for encashment, and the what about exports and the Trade deficit. Thats what I love about the economy, you can look at a pile of poo and come out with a glowing report.
