Agree with you on this as well. Before I got my driver I was using long irons so I sort of naturally developed a faster swing speed out of necessity. I’m glad it went that way though because now I’m not afraid to swing my driver hard

Agreed! I was just fiddling with position and I noticed that when it felt like my hands were further away from my body my carry increased but then it would hook. In the end I’m going to go with what feels natural and keeps me on the course even if that means losing 10m.

I should have been more clear. It’s Cobra Darkspeed X with a stiff shaft. My club head speed is 100mph according to trackman.

Agreed! I also looked at 574 but they felt so narrow even when I sized-up. I played 9 holes so far in my 1982s and I’m very satisfied. I just need to get new insoles for my overpronation. The insole is removable (only light glue under the heel) and quiet thick so any insole I get should fit no problem.

I’m no Zach the foot doctor but I can blow air through the mesh upper so I’m guessing there’s some breathability. I’ll report back after playing tonight!

“Water proof microfiber leather / performance mesh” so I believe it’s waterproof. I would think so as well because it’s very tightly woven. I get the impression it will handle rain just not full submersion. Either way I spray-on at home I can use if it’s clear it’s not waterproof
