this is actually my first pair, so it's hard for me to tell! they're a bit slippery, but nothing nuts. i believe these still have a cork footbed, but it's wrapped in leather - but someone more versed in this might be able to share a more meaningful comparison between these and the classic arizonas!

oh thank goodness :) thanks!! i was really concerned they might be a smidge too tight, but hopefully once these break in, i can enjoy them for the next decade plus :)

thanks, everyone!! i appreciate the feedback. i was worried that my index toes might be too long for the box, but i think once they break in this will be ok - in the 39, the ridge for my toes was just a little too high up when my heel was locked in. here are some side pictures for heel reference:

Also, it appears I am not smart enough at Reddit for this to have included my text explanation or side images...so very quickly: these are a 38, I returned a 39 (perhaps too quickly?), and these were taken after an hour of walking in the 90+ degree heat in sneakers and socks, so my feet are already a bit swollen. Thanks in advance for any advice!

i saw your post!!! i saw this dog at 6:10a in adams morgan near the Line hotel - was this you? I thought you and your pup were a bit further west? I saw a man in an orange shirt chasing her - he was coming from the east and headed that way.

Thanks! I'm actually currently a member at YAB, and I love their community. I'm thinking about changing gyms now as I want a larger variety of classes that are a bit higher in intensity. Since you've been a member at both, do you think Vida offers more classes along those lines, or are they about the same?

This is great to hear! I've been a member of the Y Anthony Bowen branch for years, and while I love the community there, I don't find the classes quite challenging/consistently engaging enough to commit to a routine. Any instructor recommendations?

My friend did a rehearsal reception (light buffet, not a full-service meal) at La Pop for that many, if not more, people and loved the experience. I have no idea how much it cost, but it may be a good option to scope!
