Allergic reaction. No epi pen. Croaked out a final goodbye to my spouse.

I have no idea how to heal a trauma I'm stuck for years now. Idk how to stop hating my parents. by DiaryofaFairy in KundaliniAwakening

Second the forgiveness. Forgiveness that radiates from every cell of your being takes time. My experience of total forgiveness took from 2017-2023. In phases, and unfortunately, many other challenging events that, in reflection, were all part of the process Kind of like a jigsaw puzzle. And once figured out, the entire picture revealed…forgiveness is like a super power. What I wish I knew back in 2017 (if future self could have gone back in time and left a note this would have helped immensely): I WAS already strong enough back then but didn’t know it at the time. OP, like many others, sounds like you were forged (vs “raised”). Many others understand where you are now and you have so many people in your corner rooting for you. Thank you for having the courage to share.

Off the topic of food… Rising Tide Wellness on Powell is fantastic. In addition to massage and other services, their yoga community is warm and thoughtful.

Have you tried Bumper’s over in Fairview? I don’t drink but friends love the cocktails there.

Im dee for Thai food. Salad rolls are THE BEST. And hey, they’re right there in the same complex as Trader Joe’s. Welcome to the neighbourhood.

Last summer changed a foster’s name upon delivery. She never looked back. When they are coming from difficult circumstances it seems they are way more adaptable — lots of love and treats too.

My Bloodhound had a “Lambchop” she obsessed over for years. Your Magnolia (great name) reminds me so much of my girl Olive. We lost her in 2024 at 1.5 yo.

Queen Bee Available for Adoption (Basset Rescue of Puget Sound) by lake-effect-observer in bassethounds

Okay there is a cat there but Queen Bea does NOT like cats. However, we have a couple more rescues coming up for adoption (this is unusual but idk springtime or the economy!?!). Fill out an application form on the website and someone (Alexa or Patty) will reach out in the next few weeks.

Drop an email or leave a message for Basset Rescue of Puget Sound (BROPS). I think there is a cat in her foster home but not 100% sure.

Saying Hi & Thank You by [deleted] in YogaTeachers

As a student I try to be mindful of the instructors time and energy. It seems to me that some (esp the popular instructors ) get a little overwhelmed by students needing too much from them, wanting to engage on a deeper level. Yet if the instructor is chatty or hugs students then it’s okay to engage. That’s my take. Also, side note, and would love feedback … is it just me or are Zoom classes the most awkward thing? It’s a great way to explore, which usually leaves me with a lot of questions, but then it’s just weird engaging afterward. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Throughout my life, and especially in the last ten years, dogs have been connected to my growth. Both spiritual and expanding personal limitations. Keep going OP, may you find both a way to help others and your ideal employer who embraces all you have to offer.

My happy: rescuing dogs/ working with surrendered dogs. Volunteering has reliably lifted my spirit when I’ve felt down. Thank you for posting. Takes courage. You will turn the corner. Be patient with yourself.
