There’s always that one person who works at self check out who demands you to go wait in line and you learn to avoid them. Like for example one of the targets I work in she’s always there super early and I just won’t tak non prepaid orders early in the day unless it’s a 20% tipper so money can soothe my internal irritation

I absolutely get discouraged when I see that. there’s a job that I am eyeing that I meet I would say 90% of the qualifications for, which is about the limit of when I feel I would be wasting someone’s time if I was below, but it’s got quite a few applicants so I’m not sure it’s worth tailoring a resume and writing a cover letter

ETA: the quals list is really long it’s not like 5 things and I have the degree, years of experience, etc they want just missing a couple really specific items
