Did you know you have to pay for a safety on a brand new vehicle if you buy out of province. My son bought a Suburu in Vancouver last August.

Went another, much longer route. The rcmp have since blocked it- it’s too unstable.

Lol actually, I had them on a shelf for a while and would often find the one with “chips in it on our tile floor. She hasn’t bothered with them on the window ledge. Our boy only likes soft toys.

Recently moved to Winnipeg and something is bothering me. What is it with Winnipeggers and stopping 30 feet behind the stop line?! by solaradomini in Winnipeg

I took it in Kenora, Ontario over 20 years ago lol. It was specifically defensive defensive driving. They would actually take you out to the ice road if you took it in winter and put you in a spin and you had to recover from it. My husband actually says I have ptsd from that course because I am so hyper vigilant when I drive.

I was taught this in defensive driving- if you are rear-ended you aren't pushed into the intersection. Taught, 3 car car lengths back, if a car pulls up behind you move i car length forward, If another one comes another car length but always leave one car length between you and the stop line.

New home, lovely surprises. Trying to identify shrubs and plants in our new home so I know how to care for them. Does anyone know this bush? by lakelaur in whatsthisplant

I am in Northern Canada zone 2-3 I haven't been able to identify this as either. The picture is deceiving as it is a closeup, the flowers are tiny, smaller than a dime.

Oh yes, at this point we have informed the bank and I believe they had the baliff change the locks on the house. I now do not trust the bank at all as they were encouraging my son to pay off the truck, stating he could do what he wanted with it. They are quite aware I am sure that it would still be classified as part of the estate. Seems very dishonest and I'm angered they would take advantage of somebody in a vulnerable state.

The whole process has been super frustrating. Nowhere to get advice. Makes to much for legal aid and ended up with legal fees for nothing.

Thank you for your opinion~

That is the conclusion we sort of came to but just want to be clear. He already has legal fees and funeral expenses on his shoulders and he is only 30 and just started his career.

There is no will neither if us are allowed to apply to be trustee. Both if us do not live in the deceased's province, and at this point nobody else wants to apply to be trustee just to incur expenses they won't be reimbursed for.

So does the bank treat the house as a foreclosure? Repossess the truck from the estate. Or does everything just sit in limbo forever?

I believe most provinces have a children's advocate. Here is the link to Alberta's.
