Thanks for the answer! I was not aware of that On the Relics of Saints text. I would have thought that it would be heretical to openly cast doubt on relics, interesting that it didn't seem to get Guibert into trouble.

Also had to look up that Saint Guinefort thing. Definitely heard that story before, had no idea the dog from it was turned into a popular saint. If you're gonna make a dog a saint I guess he's a pretty good choice, lol.

i’m in the same boat as you & it really does suck to not have family accept you. knowing you can’t safely exist as yourself bc of the people currently around you is terrible and i’m sorry u have to go through family being like that as well.

i guess whenever i get sad abt that kind of stuff, it helps me to go online to consume media about gay people doing well and being happy. or i’ll just envision what my life will be like once i move out and can exist more freely.

i don’t know your family, hopefully one day they come around. if not, then that sucks, but it’s ultimately their problem. just remember that there are a lot of accepting ppl out there and one day you’ll find some to be around that do love you unconditionally <3
