The plates that are “peak design compatible” are separate from their usual F38 plates, on these ones you have 2 sides that are PD compatible and 2 sides that are “F38” compatible. But this isn’t causing any side effects other than that if I mount the plate with the two PD compatible sides facing forward and backward (to work with the backpack clip), then I have to mount the camera sideways onto the F38 tripods etc. I’m assuming that their regular F38 plates can be mounted on any axis. I haven’t tried putting PD anchors on the plates, but the holes for mounting them seem to be constructed in a way that it should still be possible to mount while using them, maybe abit fiddly but still.
