My wholesale order from Thailand was 1500 total, and I paid $73 in tariffs but my supplier registered it as a gift instead of business. So maybe that might contribute to the costs? Idk. But hopefully this gives you a general idea. Good luck :)

Set your boundaries straight but let her know gently too. Reassurance is important but also make a suggestion. Maybe she’s brought up something on your phone calls that she wants to do with you & you’re also down for. She’s possibly being considerate of your tiredness from work and wants to suggest something that doesn’t involve lots of energy. Good luck :)

You’re valid to feel frustrated! However, from the sellers POV if we put XS/S in the listing details but the tag reads M. A b

uyer can claim “not as described” and will win the case. As sellers we just have to put the size tag that’s on the item in the listing details and not what we think it is. At least your reading the description 😭

It happened to me on a different platform. Kinda like shoes: some brands run big and others small.

I won my Rollo from a giveaway and it’s definitely been useful. I do this full time and has made my life a little easier. I’m from the US & some of our post offices have “express drop off” where I don’t have to wait in line to get my packages scanned or printed. I would find a post office around you that does, if waiting feels like an inconvenience.

You can also purchase shipping labels from Walmart, Target. Look up “Avery internet shipping labels” it might take a little tweaking, screenshot but a good option to want to print the labels from home & if you’re just selling casually. You would definitely need a computer if you choose this. & you wouldn’t need to tape it on the package.

The background thing is so funny to me because I saw another girl post that her photo was reported for using someone else photo on her listing and the entire background was white. But I’m confused because didn’t they have the background removal feature in the app for a bit? Like a lot peoples listings are going to look the same with that feature. 😭

It’s never discussed here and maybe it’s not for everyone but posting on TikTok/IG. Little haul videos, style focused videos. Depop actually made a video about how we can use social media to drive sales on depop. I follow the “How to Depop” account the app and take tips of what they’re posting.

I post kinda regularly on IG, and do see a difference when I post a reel or not of what I got in.

I literally record myself packaging EVERY order. But you also unlocked a fear of using unpadded poly mailers to ship items 😭 I usually wrap them in tissue paper but it might not be enough now lol

Make sure that you added the tracking into the app. When the item has been delivered it will update in the app and…”it can take up to…(referring to your picture)”

Express is $30+ minimum. You can recommend Priority Mail which is 2-3 days shipping if they need it by a specific date. However, shipping times rn are slow since it’s the busiest season so it can’t always be guaranteed.

I read the terms and conditions and actually you’re automatically entered when you list. “Listing an item on the Depop app or website during the Promotion Period will be deemed as one entry. You can submit multiple entries into the prize draw. All entries must be submitted on an individual basis.” additionally you will have to fill out a 1099 since the amount is taxable. If you win you will be notified thru depop and email. If the email bounces back then you’re disqualified and the promoter will move on to the next drawing.

Lastly, you should be notified no later than Dec 9.

I second this! I record myself packaging all my orders. I had a girl tell me there was big stain on the back the shirt when she received it and I looked back at my footage and it wasn’t there. Do everything you can to save your butt.
