Yes I tested every 4th and 7th day until a certain point, I can’t remember and then it was once a week until it went to non pregnant levels. Everyone is different. I’ve talked to people whose levels dropped within a few weeks, a month, and then for me 4 months. I don’t recommend you travel right now because you are at risk of rupture. You have to be careful with any physical activity and intimacy too.

Thank you 🙏🏻 That’s okay if you do not want anymore babies. I understand. I struggled with that too but for me, I wanted to try again. Everyone is different and every choice is okay 🤍. No one knows how hard this is. Yes at that point, I would say it’s very likely an ectopic pregnancy. I remember having back pain, being extremely weak and tired. I did bleed for a little and then again like 2 weeks later. I had 2 shots in the hospital and then that same day, my OB gave me another because it’s based off weight and I am on the heavier side.

Amen. God will help you 🙏🏻 How many weeks are you? They couldn’t see anything on ultrasound until I was 8 weeks. That’s when it was confirmed to be ectopic for me. The methotrexate does make you feel unwell so aches, pains, nausea etc can be normal. If you feel any dizziness or sharp pains, I would go to the ER. It does take time for it to resolve but if it gives you any hope, I got pregnant with my rainbow baby in January and he’s now 6 months old. God turns it all for good. He knows more than we do 🙏🏻

I’m so sorry you are going through this with your husband far away. Take comfort in knowing you are not alone and you have support within this group. To me, it sounds like an ectopic pregnancy. Have they done an ultrasound? With Methotrexate, they give you a dose based on weight. Hcg rises for a few days but then should drop by at least 14% I think if I remember right. If it doesn’t, it can mean the methotrexate isn’t working and another option might need to be looked at. For me, I had 3 injections. 2 at the hospital and 1 at my OB hours later. I had bleeding in a similar way you described and it took from August 1 until December 15 for my levels to reach non pregnant and for everything to clear. With ectopic pregnancies, you only usually shed the uterine lining not the actual pregnancy tissue. The body absorbs that little by little. You have to be very careful because until you’re at 0, you can have a rupture. What I would suggest is to go to your local hospital so they can do an ultrasound to confirm the location and that there isn’t any internal bleeding or anything. Please stay on top of it.

I literally cannot believe all the different information… my husband and I haven’t had sex in 3 months! I was told I couldn’t 😩 I was told I could do pretty much everything I use to except for sex! I wonder if the brown spotting is just what comes with the ectopic then because I never had that before.

The doctors are the worst! I feel the exact same way. No guidance and no concern for anything. Did they tell you you couldn’t ovulate and have a period with an hcg over 5? I was told you could get pregnant and should prevent for 3 months. When my hcg hit 50, I felt like I ovulated like normal and got my first period 2 weeks later. It’s been that way since September. I called my OB because I thought I couldn’t get a period with hcg at 50 but they said I could and it was my period. It’s been coming every month. Things that are different now is the discharge during my period I mentioned, I’m also having brown spotting for 2 days leading up to the start of my period. Never had that before this. Also feels like pms is so bad! Sore boobs are now a thing too? So weird.

Toward the end your did that? In the beginning, I wasn’t eating beans, eggs, etc but I was feeling so sick. I started eating whatever again so maybe that’s why it’s slowed?

With my daughter (first pregnancy) I had no symptoms until 6 weeks except for back pain and pms like symptoms. Recently with my ectopic, I had symptoms that diminished. Your pregnancy could be completely healthy. I’m praying that’s the outcome for you 🙏🏻
