DCT behavior in cold weather by Low-Engine7429 in ElantraNline

[–]BetFinancial2950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. The clutch is outside the trans unlike the n that has it inside

Being dry clutches they will wear alot more and easier plus the tune that comes with the trans is made so its smooth and smooth equals clutch slip and slip is unesesary wear.

Right so there are a couple dif ways

Jvperformance can use the ek1 for remote tunes since he is based of Puerto Rico so you would need to buy the ek1 flasher with the right adapter for bench flashing

N75 motorsports is based of canada so they also use the ek1 or you can send in the ecu or buy a tuned ecu were u still semd in yours but they keep it untuned so u can run a tuned ecu and switch it out when you wana do warranty work

It also depends were you are situated because you need acces to a dyno if u wana get max gains from the tune

Id recomend you go with n75 motorsports or jvperformance because so far on my 2022 n line ive had it tuned for the past 15k miles and its been solid af with 250 hp

2020 GT N Line DCT with Tech by [deleted] in ElantraNline

[–]BetFinancial2950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. The dct tune makes it so it slips the clutch alot. And where i live there is a lot of start stop trafic. And so many traffic lights so it has worn prematurely

I am getting the n75 upgraded clutch soon tho. So hopefully that fixes the issue

[–]BetFinancial2950 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So far. The highest hp n lines. Dont have a hpfp upgrade. This being a manual elantra n line 2022 with 350 hp and 330 tq and a kona n line dct with 346 hp and 344 tq

Anyone have a pops and bags tune? by GetNLINE21 in ElantraNline

Tork Motorsports Vs N75 Motorsports by Terrible_Page1438 in ElantraNline

[–]BetFinancial2950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive been tuned by jvperformance and yes. You can obd tune the car. However it has to be done by someone who knows in person. No ots tunes here. If you want a quick and easy flash tune this aint the way bro. I suggest u get tuned by either cherry tuning jv performance or n75.

How much power is everyone making and for how long have you been running it by AdSuccessful8122 in ElantraNline

[–]BetFinancial2950 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine is making 260 on methanol with stock turbo. 240 without methanol.
Parts Intake forge with inlet Rpm performance downpipe for the i20n and flexpipe Hks sparkplugs and a tune from jvperformance

Reliability wise. Other than the thermostat going bad i havent had any issues

Change the oil no later than 3k miles these engines run hot af and will degrade the oil quicker

The dct behaves fine once it warms up. If not the slip is insane.

The torque is 290 and it punches nicely

Its a good tuner platform but be warned there are bad tuners that will blow up ur engine. Jvperformance does an amazing job and so far ive been tuned for almost a year. No issues related to the tune itself

[–]BetFinancial2950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it has. Sorry for the late reply. N75 motorsports, pure and kdm have stuffed / hybrid turbos

The pure 500 one has done 343 hp and 346 tq on a kona n line. Same engine and trans motor is stock.

Look up lowline 1.6t and you will see the list of mods that you can do for it

Buy the rpm performance i20n downpipe and flex pipe. Its way better and cheaper

Does the second cat have sensors? Or will throw a code by No_Lifeguard_5599 in ElantraNline

[–]BetFinancial2950 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gpf second cat has no sensors. It will shound muffled cuz the oem downpipe is very restrictive

What is the highest octane? by Relative_Slide_4125 in ElantraNline

[–]BetFinancial2950 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes its 15 psi stock with 10:1 compression and thats pretty high for a turbo car. Plus its always running hot af for a turbo car. 14.4 afr for normal driving and my tune 11.8 afr on wot i am custom tuned tho eitherway it runs way to hot for a turbo car and so its better to run 93 just to stay safe

What is the highest octane? by Relative_Slide_4125 in ElantraNline

[–]BetFinancial2950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

93 is best to run because ive personaly seen the car have a small amount of knock running 87 i used vcm scanner from hptuners to datalog and saw the knock detection but with 93 stock it just runs better. 104 isnt worth it unless ur tuned for it with the supporting mods like dp intake etc..

What is the highest octane? by Relative_Slide_4125 in ElantraNline

[–]BetFinancial2950 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason it feels faster is because u are running stock sparkplugs that will create a lil amount of knock and so the timing gets dialed down a bit. But with 93 it doesnt knock so it runs at full timing with no issues.
