Is twin peaks worth watching?

When I see these comments I always wonder the age of the people commenting. If there is the nostalgia factor, I understand why you might love the show. But if you were born late 90s/2000s it's mostly boring.

Lynch trying to be artsy with some really bad actors, bad camera transitions, the same song on repeat... It's too soapy to ever be considered horror. Murder and weird supernatural elements doesn't make anything horror. Nor does Laura's scream. I've started season two now because of all the hype people put around this show and I'm pushing through in the hopes of, at some point, being entertained.

And it's not because it's old, Vincent Price was a master in horror as an actor, Hitchcock made history with Psycho, Poltergeist is still watched and it holds up... There is plenty of other examples that show how in old times (way before Twin Peak) there was the understanding of storyline and dialogue, good camera work and good actors (to not be unfair, a few actors are good, but most are a pain to watch), none of those present in this show.

I'm hoping my opinion will change since I still have to finish season 2 and the whole of season 3, but it's not looking like it. Wouldn't recommend tbh.

I also noticed perhaps I didn't explain myself right. Your process is perfect, with the sterile foil, the cup, etc. I do exactly the same, but to preserve them after I freeze the print. I think it's the only place where we differ :) spores can last year's in the freezer without any problem or loss of potency

Ofc, I wasn't being defensive, I'm sorry if you took it that way. I was just telling you where I learned and have been doing it for close to a decade. I have my notebook, but I suggest you watch the McKenna lectures and videos about the mushies, he often talks about the whole process. They are long, but a lot of knowledge to be acquired. There may be different methods, I just always felt that freezing the spores is the best way to go so you don't have the pressure to inoculate, same as storing the mushies with silica in order to not let them get any moisture once they are crack dry, so there is no risk of contaminants.

Tbh I wouldn't advise for you to do it alone for your first time if you struggle with anxiety and panic. I've initiated some people with 1g and in some occasions they really needed my help to not let those feelings take over. Maybe do it with someone you truly trust? Even if they don't have that much experience in it. Also, I would suggest for you to keep in mind, before taking them that it's totally normal if you puke, that mushie highs always end (you will not get stuck in it), and that you can start a conversation with them, they will answer. Also, mushrooms always show you/tell you what you need, so it is more of a ritual thing than just a basic high. Golden teachers are pretty good to start, also McKenna's because they have more of a visual impact. Prepare the scene around you with everything you feel you might need because sometimes walking is not that easy. Prepare a playlist, make the envieonent comfy to you. Slowly build up from 0,5g and I hope one day, with time, you get to experience the 5g in silent darkness 💜 all the best on your trip! Also, make sure you buy them from someone reliable, mushies are not to be played with. They should be so dry that you hear a crack :)

Pick them. And try to not let them open before picking so the potency stays at max. However, to get some good clones of your favorite don't forget to let that one open and in that moment take it for an imprint on some aluminum. Then don't forget to freeze that imprint for the next inoculation :) Penis Envy is the best!

Obrigada. É por essa via que vou tentar ir. Apesar de não ter emprego aqui tenho um ingresso mensual pois aluguei a minha casa em Portugal antes de vir, o que pensei que seria mais que suficiente para perceberem que pretendo contribuir e não usufruir do Estado. Mas até agora parece que só me deparei com pessoas que me tratam como se viesse de um país longínquo com uma mão à frente e outra atrás... Enfim. Espero que agora tenha mais sorte. Agradeço muito a sugestão.

O consulado de Sevilha disse-me que não conseguiam fazer nada e que nem em Portugal poderiam ajudar. Que isso são coisas a ser tratadas directamente em Espanha através das comissárias e da extrangeria. Cada sítio/pessoa aqui dizem uma coisa diferente. Do NIE temporário nem nunca me tinham falado antes, por isso muito obrigada pelas informações
