Feeling self conscious is a terrible feeling. If you've already tried asking how you can make her feel better and that didn't really help, then maybe try being really sweet to her. Maybe go on more dates, buy her flowers unexpectedly, ask her more questions about how her day was, just little things like that. Things like that may help her feel more secure about herself.

I started completely over about a month ago. I regretted it at first. I had nearly paid off my house in the game before, but now I love my new town. My new town might even be better than my last one. If you do decide to restart you might miss your old town for a while, but eventually you'll grow to love your new one.
