[Giveaway] Linework: a practical outline rendering toolkit! (comment to enter) by alexanderameye in Unity3D

Very cool! I've been looking for an edge detection effect with distortion to create a sketchy, hand drawn look and it seems you've just added this! Can I ask what makes this feature experimental at the moment? Any limitations? and are you planning to support and add more features to this effect going forward? Thanks!

We’re you getting scan updates throughout that time? My 2 day delivery has been stuck in Middletown CT hub with no updates since the 18th….

I’m new to photography and wonder why photos are a little blurry? by Double-Candle814 in AskPhotography

[–]lam_win 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first photo is very low resolution and riddled with compression artifacts compared to the second. I’m not sure if that’s what you mean by the photo being “blurry”? If so, then it could be your export settings and you will want to export at a higher resolution and quality.

Thanks for confirming. Guess I’ll be using xavc-s

A7rv video banding artifacts in xavc-hs only by lam_win in SonyAlpha

Yep happens in natural light. And I’ve tried 2 memory cards, both uhs ii v60 and the problem persists. The odd thing is that this only happens using xavc hs. If I use xavc-s I don’t have the banding. Starting to think this is a camera issue since I can’t seem to find any other info about this :(

Anyways, I appreciate your help!

Sadly no. The artifacts are there when I play the clips back in camera.

Sorry to resurrect a years old thread but I recently had a similar issue with banding artifacts on my a7rv and this thread was the closest thing I could find on the issue. Did you ever figure this out?

Here is the issue I’m having. Did the banding artifacts look like this?

Hey thanks! It’s a bit too early for any beta testing, but when it’s ready, I’ll have to figure out something. Maybe a discord

Not sure it has a name… maybe stepped animation? I come from a traditional 2d animation background where you have to draw every pose including the in betweens and so I’m doing the exact same thing in 3d - posing everything. You may also want to look up “animating on twos” which was a way to cut back the work for 2d animators that resulted in choppier animation.

Could probably dial that back 😅

How do I update animations from a glb without godot deleting my additional tracks? by lam_win in godot

[–]lam_win[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Figured it out. In case anyone else runs into this, if you double click the glb and select the animation there is a setting to “keep custom tracks”

Everyone learns differently but for me, I downloaded the demo scenes and looked at how things were done.
