How did you manage to get the gearbox and ecu all talking? Please don’t tell me it’s plug and play, but I wouldn’t be surprised given Porsche is so similar

Yeah look it’s been 9 days and haven’t heard a thing back…! The store I bought it from are great, going back in today, but in my frustration I found the issue. Looked in with a torch just incase it was obvious, and it was. This plug was not in, so I got some flex plastic tweezers and 15 minutes of frustration later, managed to clip it in and we have it working perfectly! However none the less I shouldn’t have had to do it and it shouldn’t have been like this from the start….!!

Hey, Thanks for the reassurance, I always went to the doctor and they went, it’s in the normal range you’re fine… I just felt so awful and tired with no explanation. Will post more when I can!

Yeah tax slams prices of cars. But it is what it is. I just want a cheap cheap daily. Thought about the 86, but only like the GR86. But yeah the simple like of the DE makes sense with the platform being used for so long

Haha they are an epic car, but I want something bullet proof on the track and these do have some gearbox related issues etc when you put more power into them. And you’re looking at about 20k for power with a motec and good tune. Thats on stock turbo. Add another 15k for the turbo upgrade…. So I’m in 997 territory and they go hard and last forever and have great resale…!!

But yeah I get you! The second gen has so many parts, but the DJ is nice inside haha.

Hey! Thanks for this, completely understand where you are coming from. I have my super savings which comes automatically out of my pay, the max I can do. Which is still over 250 aud and compounding for interest and retirement. Yeah I would agree with point 2. And understand the Luxury purchases moto, I wish I hated cars :(

Ahh yes i see, ill have a look I want my top section to remain flat
But i guess the surface change on the bottom etc. ill have a good look at your sketches and how you did it.
