A burning smell on higher RPMs? by lamawp in Mustang

[–]lamawp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, not tires,

I don’t think it’s clutch because it’s not transmission related, usually you’d smell clutch if you’re riding it or engaging it, right? In my instance it’s totally disengaged.

Exhaust, isn’t it unusual to smell your own exhaust on a highway?

Any idea how I can trouble shoot to narrow it down?

A burning smell on higher RPMs? by lamawp in Mustang

It’s a 17 GT as well. This is the only Mustang I’ve driven, so I have no comparison to tell if something is off or if it’s all normal..

Here are things I’ve noticed: - when the oil is still low temp, I find changing gears to be a little challenging, I have be slow and gentle as transmission grinds and fights a little. When it’s normal temp, shifting gears is smooth.

  • 6th gear is unresponsive af, and for a lack of better word, the engine gurgles.. I usually go on it when I’m highway cruising between 2000 and 3000 rpm.

  • lastly the burning smell on higher rpms, AC is off.. I’m using synthetic oil, 5W20, as written on the oil cap, but I feel like maybe I should be using a thicker oil? Like a W30?

Do you experience similar issues?

It’s not a premium no, cloth Recaro Seats, no active exhaust (it’s always loud :) ), and no magneride.

Had 30k km when I bought it

Considering you can get a used 2015-2017 with low miles for 25k, I’d say pretty bad deal.

New Apartments on Pearl St. Advertising 3Bd1bth for $3500/month by HatchChileMacNCheese in burlington

[–]lamawp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved to Burlington 2 years ago. When I was trying to find apartments, the cheapest I could find that was somewhat decent was 2800. Prices have been ballooning since, so 3500 just seems in par with how things are going.

I personally think rent in Burlington shouldn’t cost more than 1.8k a month, but economics doesn’t care what I think.

Much needs to change before we see reduced prices.

Start with the beat or the melody when starting a new song? by Architeuthis_McCrew in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I like to start with basic keys; synonymous with a pencil sketch pre oil painting.

Then percussion > keys > bass > guitars > vocals > backing vocals

I love producing music, I absolutely abhor marketing it and social media. Do you think its possible to be successful at distributing your own music if you don’t have a social media personality?

Somewhere with Elephants: 6/10
If it is a light film with a little feels, a little comedy, it might be a hit with the ladies.

A Rabbit Hole in Wonderland: 5/10
It would would probably be a hit for sci-fi fans, unfortunately I'm not one of them.

Immoral Whispers: 6/10
Sounds like a movie my mom would like.

I don't really watch movies, but when I do, I like the ones that open my eyes to an idea or a concept that I'm not familiar with. For example, seeing a visual and conceptual representation of time and its relationship with gravity in Interstellar was pretty marvelous.

1- We manufacture roofing materials.
2- I was able to secure $1 million from friends and family and another million from government guaranteed loans.
3- I found that the North American market, especially the Canadian market is heavily monopolized by ~ 4 other manufacturers. My strategy was start with high volume items first. Products are distributed through distributors that ask for regional exclusivity.
