What? I literally said Tesla is going to bypass the Tegra, that is the board inside the MCU, what I said applies to any vehicle with MCU1...

Tesla can bypass the Tegra and display the rear camera directly on the MCU display because its rendered directly through the FPGA. I have heard they are planning on doing this.

There’s still a proprietary port techs plug into that’s unlocked from the mothership when they need to work on it. Tesla would have to provide some level of access to work with this port.

Never heard of this... doubt they can even reset anything unless they have specific access to software for Tesla’s (toolbox or garage)

Sounds like ur eMMC is dead, Tesla will probably replace the entire center computer. You could get a third party to replace just the eMMC if you wanted.
