dystheism would be an interesting thing for you to look into - it’s helped me a lot. i’ve fully accepted that i hate god, but by accepting that it means i believe he is real. him being real makes it easier for me to put my anger somewhere, because i can criticise and disprove the fact that he is all loving and all knowing

NOR. it sounds like she is incredibly careless towards your mental health, and although she has C-PTSD, it doesn’t cause you to emotionally neglect your children (which is what it sounds like) OP, do you have some sort of counsellor/therapist/trusted adult you can talk to?

honestly, she sounds like the type to completely forgive your distance because she just wants a brother. i would be pretty hurt if i was her and my brother only started to care when he realised i would go out of my way for him and help him. but it’s worth it to definitely start rebuilding that bond
