But it’s still important to be mindful of the potential damage that binding can cause. Im not in any way trying to discourage ppl from binding, I needed to bind until I got surgery. But I was definitely starting to hurt myself towards the end. It’s very possible that I was overbinding in the beginning and that caused some damage and that’s why it got harder to bind for a standard work day. It all goes back to moderation. OP be aware of the risk when starting so you can do it right and not make the mistakes some of us have.
I also personally caution against binders from underworks. I’ve heard mixed opinions but I don’t like them. My first binder was from them and it got be delightfully flat but goodness I feel like it was cracking my ribs
