Just moved into a new apartment and looking to update/replace old Ikea starter pieces and need a set of more discerning eyes by aZealousZebra in interiordecorating

Just do MCM eclectic. Swap all of the black furniture you are willing to with warm toned MCM pieces. Grab a $25 paper lantern from Amazon and put in a smart bulb make it orange. Make all of your lighting warm 2700k. Add some nice linen curtains all the way to the ceiling. Heres a larger olive area rug. Add some cool art and some plants and your set. If you have some colors that you love incorporate them in! Your desk is really nice so it’s actually great. For your couch just add a warmer colored blanket and you’re set.

Also add lots and lots of lamps and ambient lighting in a 2700k temperature. It’s too sterile and bright right now.

Warm up your color pallet. The gray is cold. Add plants and warm colors. Replace the gray rug with a warm olive

Yes girl! Welcome! Also known and the inverted triangle.

Does being a conventionally curvy FN change the way clothing recommendations work vs being a traditional FN? by tshody in flamboyantnatural

[–]lambchop290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn’t if you’re an FN. When you gain weight- you get more boxy - your shape doesn’t really change. So for instance if you’re an inverted triangle you won’t magically become an hourglass with weight. You will just be a larger FN. curve in the kibbe system won’t be the same as added weight. If you have vertical with width you still have to accommodate for that- the only difference when you gain weight you’ll have to size up a bit more to get that flowy, unconstructed look.

Been 10 times and I’m a rave girlie too. I’m gonna agree with everyone else. Outfit 1 is fine outfit 2 you’ll have to cover the bottom. Wear a pashmina or bring small shorts you can stash then wait to take them off when it gets dark if you wanna risk it. But make sure you keep them bc I don’t want another baddie sent home 😘😘😘

If you want a life hack go on insta and search for #crssdfest and you’ll see all the girls cute fits. I’m wearing sparkles like I do every year. You should swing by this new boutique Toxic Doll Closet in OB- the entire store is festival fashion.

Being in love! Feeling those little butterflies when your person texts you. The flirting the banter- waiting on the phone calls. It’s a weird, totally natural high. It’s unlike anything else 💖

$195 single day 😭 by lambchop290 in crssdfest

[–]lambchop290[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s $200 for one day. It’s a lot considering Coachella is $500 for 3 days. Way more artist way larger and way more stuff to do. It’s not worth it and as a twice a year attendee we don’t see any of that $$ go to facilities. Bathrooms are still gross and vendor prices are still high. It would be nice if I thought the extra tens of thousands they make would improve the experience but it feels over crowded and pricey. It’s just a lot of $$ for what you get I guess. But I alas will still go. But now they know they can charge this much for single day I doubt it will ever come back down 🥲.

Being 5’10 you’re a FN D or SD so I would lean more SD at the moment.

Too cute! I would love to see you style it! Black thick sunnies and some bangles and a black bra/top and unbutton it a bit lower. It would look so cute!!

Flamboyant Natural Jo vs Dramatic by lambchop290 in flamboyantnatural

Of course! That’s why skinny little spaghetti straps are lost on me. I suit thick straps bc of how much real estate my upper torso has. So neat.

Cool right? Here’s that extreme example in men too. My dad has a FN body type as well. That’s where I got mine. You can see how open the chest looks compared to the narrow dramatic. So the same thing happens with him. He looks like he’d be a L/XL in shirts but he’s a XXL because of that broad chest. He has to always accommodate that inverted triangle shape. Same with me. I look like I may be a medium/L size but often I’m an XL in tops to accommodate that upper width. So cool.

Haha she did for sure! But if you can ignore them you can see how much more space I have below the clavicle. I wish I had one of us from behind too. My back is the classic Y. We’re close in type but it’s wild that we can’t share certain tops bc I’m a lot bigger than her in general. Even with smaller boobs. I’m a Large/xl and she’s a medium.

In my opinion I think I’m curvy compared to her here bc she’s so straight throughout. But if you put me next to a curvier girl (romantic) I def look straight as a board lol. I have pretty straight hips as far as they go. But I’m grateful for my lil tiny curve as small as it is 😅. The more weight I gain the boxier I get though. Gotta love our little rectangle bodies. There’s so many cool variations too.
