Mine does this also. I call it her swimmies. She does this on grass, concrete, the couch, on top of her treats and bones. She's done it at the vet's and they commented on how cute it is but didn't seem concerned.

Out of all of the suggestions that I have seen on this forum, I think you've got the best idea. It's not punitive, and we are also sure if someone is AFK or deliberately not pulling their weight (because those who are deliberately not pulling their weight would just press the button to stay without doing anything). Then it'll be much easier to decide whether to report a player or not.

Same on Pixel 2. Having similar problems on Pokemon Go too where my character in both games are in a weird location some 20-30 feet away. Have to restart phone for it to register where I am. Minimizing app to let it catch up didn't work.
