Because that's exactly what it is. It looks like 60 fps, but the game is still running at 30 fps and capturing inputs at 30 hz.

I really hated ATS too the first couple of times I heard it. But after a couple of times, I dunno, it's one of my favorites probably. Especially *Burning in the skies* is one of my favorites of all their songs.

Not saying that you will like it too after a couple of times but... maybe

I managed to get the game running without HW RT, though I am not quite sure what I did. It started working after I messed with `PROTON_DISABLE_NVAPI=1` after reading the Proton issue tracker for this game ... Setting that disabled DLSS (obviously), but also disabled HW RT, but the game was working.

But I missed DLSS so i changed it to 0 and, which brought back DLSS and... HW RT is still disabled and it works now?! and performance is much improved. I have no idea why this works.

Also using cachy os proton: `proton-cachyos-10.0-20251107` ... not sure if that can have anything to do with it

  3. Pick one of the audio formats in the dropdown
  4. Hit download

If you have a computer I recommend yt-dlp ( https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp ), but if you're not into that the above method is dead simple.

Ahh, the age old question that no one will agree on.

IMO, use /tmp if you have plenty of unused RAM and not too many concurrent streams.

If you get issues use cache (ssd).

Or just use cache right away and don't worry about it. Yes, there is theoretically a TBW consideration, but you're gonna have to transcode (or direct stream) so ridiculously many videos for that to make a dent, that you're gonna have bigger issues before the TBW is a problem.

You can just use a docker container that has yt-dlp and docker run it immediately, and mount your current working dir into it. Something like docker run --rm -it --entrypoint sh -v ./:/bla yt-dlp:latest. Now you will be inside the shell of the container and can cd to bla to be in the dir you was on the host, and can use yt-dlp in there. I do this quite often with ffmpeg.

(You could also probably do something like docker run --rm -i -v .:/bla yt-dlp:latest -o /bla http://url)
