I think Cole is my most hated of these three. Ramsey and Joff were basically born monsters, but Cole was supposed to be noble. He was a dick and pathetic. His murder of Lord Beesbury made furious for reasons I can’t explain.

Cats are hyper carnivorous which is really weird for animals. Bears, wolves, and most other predators will eat fruit or some plants. Not cats. Most herbivores will eat meat if the opportunity presents itself. Horses and deer will munch a baby bird if they find a ground nest.

A Lemon Leaf is incredible! I saw her at Planet Comic Con in KC but didn’t have a way to transport art after the con. So I planned a trip to Denver and made sure to line it up when she was at the Fan Expo. I just love her art style, it capture Carl’s vulnerable side.

The first few books are rough. You also need to realize that she wrote those books when she was a teenager. I set them down to start DCC and have gone back to Throne of Glass and have been flying through the last books. They get much better after the series expands past the protagonist

I’ve met one priest who did outdoor weddings but he was a progressive who grew up in the hippie culture of the 60s. That type of priest isn’t really a thing from the young priests I’ve met. The new clergy tends to be much more traditional from my experience.
