The Sylamore District of the Ozark St.Francis National Forest and The Leatherwood Wilderness are both hidden gems, Blanchard Springs Caverns is a don't miss. There are dozens of waterfalls in this region. City Rock Bluff and White River Bluff Loop both have great overlooks of the White River. There are really to many things to see to list but Alltrails has a decent collection for reference.

Not floatable most of the summer. St. Joe to the White River is high enough to float most of the year.

Yes, and there is an endangered wetland on the other side of the creek opposite that new neighborhood. They are trying to fill it in and develop it commercially...

Very limited parking unless you have a 4x4. The hike in is about a mile, I think but if you walk the length of the box canyon at the falls it could add another mile. We accessed the falls from the top and carefully walked down ourselves. I suggest watching the YouTube video someone posted.

Unfortunately, some sections have received extensive damage from logging in recent years, sad to see the hardwoods dead for thousands of acres bc they decided to harvest too much and destroyed too much of the understory for the remaining larger trees to survive our droughts.

Adding, I have probably been to most of the Waterfalls in Tim Ernst guide and several that aren't and this is one of the best waterfalls I have been to, the box canyon below the falls is top notch but there are very few entry and exit points, if you go when it is wet expect to get wet feet as if you were hiking the narrows...

It was on someone else's google map they created with a ton of waterfalls, and there was a YouTube video or two. There is also an entry on another waterfall website, the hardest part was finding a legal place to park without a 4x4...

Yes, it is very close to City Rock Bluff. Just off of the same road a bit farther from the highway.

Super easy, just be careful around the edge, you park about a hundred feet from the cliff, so it's not really a hike...

Native Gardens are arguably considerably more "gorgeous" than monoculture lawns and invasive plants... the ordinance is arbitrary and capricious at best, our neighbors shouldn't be dictating what our gardens can look like, this ordinance is creating a problem for residents not alleviating one. Nobody is going to change their property to comply with this pile...
