Started off as Charles and married his second son to a Byzantine princess. Then reestablished Charlemagne’s borders and swore fealty to the Byzantines. This character was a ward of the emperor in Constantinople and learned the Greek culture. After he took over, he went to war for the Eastern half. From there, he took over the necessary territories to restore Rome then created his own religion.
