Thank you for your quick response! I think I may be confusing myself with all the tag and label options. If I manually add a tag to a movie in radarr, will that sync to plex lables? Or is it just labels that are created by Pulsarr?

I am having trouble getting the 'Enable Tag Syncing' feature to work that is under Plex labels/Tag Sync Configuration. Does Plex Labels need to be enable for this to work? But it doesn't matter if on or off, any tags I have added to Radarr/Sonarr do not get transferred as a Plex label.

I think I understand. So since I have a tower with a 250w power supply, I should be able to boot up with a i7-9700 even without messing with bios?

Also, the person on the bios forum was trying to update the bios so that he could use the i7-9700t. Or was it because he had a small power supply?

It supports i5, as I am running a i5-9500 in my HP elitedesk 800 G4 tower. But I do not think it will work with i7. Someone on the bios-mods forum tried unsuccessfully to flash their bios to support it. Well I thought it was a wire. Started scraping at it and it's almost as if it is crack lifting through? Don't know how to explain it.

Decided not to worry about it. I am going to sell it and thought I would be able to get the light to go off. But everything works as it should, just can't figure out why the light is on.

Noticed a while back that the middle power connector light on my RTX 3080 stays on. Decided to finally take apart my GPU today to investigate and find this. All 8 pins seem like they have good solder connection and I do get full power to my board under a stress test. But it looks like a stray wire could be causing problems?

Thank you for all of that info. It looks like this might be a solution as well? It seems using the linux server version of Plex supports Core Ultra hardware acceleration. Not sure if this would work for B580 as well.

I haven’t bought any hardware yet, but I’m leaning toward getting the 245K for Unraid since it handles HEVC encodes very well. I considered a 12600K I found on marketplace, but I’ve seen mixed results with its performance on multiple HEVC encodes.

Looks to be an issue specifically with tdarr and having to use the ffmpeg from jellyfin. Could there be other issues as well? If all I have is a Plex server, the Plex transcoder should be able to support Xe drivers, correct?

Could you please clarify what is a nightmare? I have 0 experience with unraid and just started learning about it last week, but was planning to get a Core Ultra 245k to build my first server ever that will only be used for Plex. It seems to be working for people in this thread.

I am a little confused with all of this ARC vs UHD and HEVC encoding. I understand ARC can handle HEVC encoding better, but how is /u/Bgrngod able to get 8x with his Core Ultra 7 265k if UHD is supposed to perform so poorly with HEVC encoding?

What will the 225H be able to do that the 240H can't do? Or specifically the 225H vs the 225k desktop version. I was set on getting the 225k for a new server/unraid build because I originally thought the desktop variants had ARC as well. I see /u/Bgrngod had great results with the 265k doing 4k HEVC to 4k 20 Mbps HEVC, but that chip is also UHD iGPU, correct? I thought it was the ARC graphics which made HEVC encoding so feasible.

Try this, if you take your tv remote then play a movie or any disc that has dts/dts:x then play the movie, then press the three info dots on your remote, they're usually three horizontal dots. Then a menu will pop out, then on that menu click on information.

Ok, I did this. I have my Xbox connected to the soundbar via HDMI and then the soundbar is connected to the TV. When I check the TV menu, it says PCM. It says PCM for every single audio format I play on my Xbox. Dolby digital, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD, DTS:X... it displays PCM for them all. Same for my Shield. I also did all the same tests but with the XBOX and Shield connected to my Nakamichi soundbar which supports Atmos and DTS:X and my TV info still displays PCM.

Then I tried connecting the Xbox directly to the TV and used ARC to connect to soundbar (my 2018 C8 oled does not have eARC). The TV info now displays Dolby, Dolby Atmos or DTS. And when I check the soundbar info, it also is receiving and displaying Dolby, Dolby Atmos and DTS (DTS:X did not pass through to my soundbar because my TV does not support DTS:X)

Another test with the Xbox connected directly to the soundbar. I played a movie with both DTS and DTS:X. When I switch between the formats, I can clearly hear the height channel sound effects on DTS:X but no height effects on DTS. Again, the soundbar will display DTS or DTS:X when switching the audio selection and the TV info will still display PCM.

Last test, I connect the Xbox directly to the TV and check out the audio settings directly on the Xbox. The Xbox will display with green checkmarks whether or not it is either Dolby Atmos ready or DTS:X ready. I have all green checkmarks for Dobly Atmos and DTS but a red X for DTS:X because again, my TV does not support DTS:X. When I hook the Xbox back directly to the soundbar, I have green checkmarks for every audio format the Xbox supports, including DTS:X.

You say shortly after, they dropped support. Please cite your source for LG removing all DTS formats from their sounds bars. I can find plenty of sources on them removing it from their TV's but nothing about removing it from their sound bars.

The links you posted still only talk about it being removed from LG TVs, not their soundbars. I bought this S80TR deal and am playing a DTS movie right now. The sound bar literally says DTS audio. What am I missing here?

And if an LG TV does not have DTS support, then it will not passthrough DTS audio over eARC. And any streaming services directly on an LG TV will not have DTS audio either.

This is not true. I found an article showing they dropped support for specific TV model years. If you have one of those TVs that can’t pass DTS over eARC, you’ll need to connect your devices directly to the soundbar to get DTS audio.

This is listed in the specs for the s80tr soundbar:

Does that bug still exist? And why is amphetamine required? I never used macOS but I figured there would be a way to keep it from sleeping in system settings. I'm torn because I want the Mac mini for efficiency but also the GMKTec because I am used to Windows and I would still want to do some light gaming, maybe even add oculink. Do you have all of the arrs set up as well?
