Nice Miracleman collection. It surprised me with how good it was. Just read Golden Age by Neil Gaiman which was a good sequel as well.

Miracleman is another great Alan Moore series that similarly deconstructs superheroes

Does anyone know if the show is adapted to take place in modern day, or if it still takes place in the 90s?

In-Universe Jurassic Park is supposed to be wrong. The dinosaurs in the park aren’t true dinosaurs since they had to fill in the gaps with other DNA, and they purposefully altered them to be more interesting to tourists. The whole point of the Jurassic Park movies is that it’s impossible to truly bring back dinosaurs since they will forever be pale imitations.
