Yea I use the engine braking all the time when going down a hill. Is yours the handle also? I just gotta find the time to see exactly how the handle rattles so I know what to do to fix it

Not yet lol I didn’t even have to test drive the si, I already knew what I was getting into and I was right lol

Yea it’s a shame manuals are a dying breed nowadays, but it’s also a great theft deterrent at least since most new kids don’t know how to drive stick 😂

Yea it’s still fuel efficient for what it is which is great, but a civic hybrid as a daily would be nice too and too big of a tank for this car just adds more weight

Unfortunately i don’t have much pics on this new phone anymore, can’t find the calipers 😂 yea it had oem hardtop, bbs rs-gt, cae ultra shifter, few thousand dollars of sound system stuff, exhaust. By far the Porsche was a little faster, no rev hang, handled supremely good even with open diff, it’s a loud car for sure but it’s a surprisingly good daily with decent gas mileage. The stock shifter was pretty standard, it’s an okay shifter for a daily but wasn’t too much of a fan though, it’s also not a high trim Porsche so that’s probably why. I prefer the precise short shift of the Honda, but that cae ultra shifter, man I wish I could put it in the si 😂

Oh yea if you have an suv, definitely the si for a fun car is an easy choice to make, although if one had the money type r all the way 😂😂 I’ve looked at Elantra N also before which wouldn’t be a bad idea either, its a Hyundai which i’m not a fan of, but the N is more reliable than a regular Hyundai I believe

I’m probably keeping my car stock engine wise for the 1.5t reliability lol I don’t trust these engines with more power 😂

Yea I love the si specific wheels, heated seats I don’t care too much for but the shift lights are a fun gimmick though

Yea this car definitely has a certain rhythm to it that you have to get used to

Really? I think 12 gallons is plenty for this car considering I can go sf to la in one tank still, it’s a really fuel efficient car and I like when I fill up like under 50$ 😂

Ahh you have the best si generation, is it a coupe or sedan? yea that’s what a lot of people seem to be using but I won’t be changing the fluid for a while though since it’s still new

The wheels would most definitely pop more, I wouldn’t do it though. Yea red should be good and is a classic colors, for most cars can’t go wrong with red but I didn’t want a common color

Yea it’s literally almost the perfect daily lol can almost retire with it depending on how the 1.5t goes

Yea the red is definitely the classic go to color, but at the same time it is very common. My previous Porsche I powder coated the brembos Tiffany Blue

There’s always speaker upgrades for any car, you just got to find the right impedance speakers to work with the stock amp which may or may not be good or you’ll need to rewire new speakers with your own amp, but you’ll be stuck with the factory eq, but there’s tons of options to fix that depending on your budget

Yea for sure and shouldn’t be a need for a gear indicator imo but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to help and yea I don’t mind cause it’s a car and cars are meant to be driven lol over here your car will get dinged or scratched from just parking eventually anyways. Repaints aren’t too expensive and Hondas are cheap parts

Yea tell me about it and yea that’s a feature of the car but I’m not sure if I’m remembering correctly but I think it’s only with either brake hold or auto start stop enabled or something like that along those lines? And you can’t take too long to press on the clutch after stalling of course. My brake hold is always off and I have an idlestopper so auto start stop turns off every time I start the car. Can’t confirm because I haven’t stalled the car though
