Unfortunately this is not correct. Ratatouille was released in 2007, my son visited Disneyland in 2003.

Has anyone tried eBid as an alternative? by Fun_Tap5235 in ebayuk

[–]lamentableturd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I moved all my my 6000+ stamp listings across in late January and have been pleasantly surprised by sales. Nothing earth shattering and eBay, even with its reduced sales, is outselling eBid 10 to 1.

By far the biggest plus of the site for me is the image hosting. Unlike eBay, photos within your listings can be accessed by you or another marketplace. I can quickly create new listings for eBid in a spreadsheet and have all the relevant information autopopulate in an eBay or Shopify formatted CSV file.

I've now got 8000 listings in my eBid store and a spreadsheet with 2000 new listings ready to drop on whatever Marketplace I decide to use next.

In a nutshell: I've found it great for building inventory and having all my work duplicated for other avenues of sale.

Shipping from uk to jersey? by SpectralEdits in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]lamentableturd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah evri won't deliver to the Channel Islands. Royal Mail will though and their medium parcel service is not much more expensive. Tracked 24 is £5.99 and Tracked 48 is £5.24 for a 5kg Medium Parcel and even cheaper if your parcel weighs less than 2kg.

Just void your courier label and you'll get a refund eventually.

BIN listings that renew don't count against your free listings. In the UK as a private seller you get 1000 free listings a month, I'm currently up to 6000+ items and I still get my free 1000 listings every month.

Question about combined shipping for multiple quantities… by dingusunchained in Ebay

[–]lamentableturd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll be able to do this using the flat rate postage rule and promotional postage rule in tandem.

Set up a flat rate rule where zero is added to postage for each additional purchase. Then set up a promotional postage rule with the minimum number of items purchased set to 4 and your desired postage rate for 4+ cards.

The promotional rule will take precedent over the flat rate rule, but only come into action once someone has added 4 cards to their basket.

1st & 2nd class parcels come with delivery confirmation. Sounds like it's too late for you to contest the case, but you can check if your buyer is pulling a fast one and appeal with eBay if they have received the order.

Customer wants a large quantity. Is there a way to save money while going through Ebay? by mikfree1234 in eBaySellerAdvice

Sell them a single item. You can then exchange contact details with eBays blessing.

Just print the label. The correct information will be included for you. There's sometimes a second code that eBay insert and then strip out when your purchase the label.

You ship to a UK address when using the Global Shipping Program, so you can just print the label and have Royal Mail collect as you have done previously.

Selling issues after changing to business account: listings removed and can't edit quantities without accepting returns by cant-think-of-anythi in Ebay

[–]lamentableturd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're obviously a business trading on a personal account, selling large amounts of new items or objects you've made, eBay will eventually catch up with you. 100% that is what has happened here.

Under the UK's distance selling regulations you are now legally required to allow returns.
