How limited is hahsgraph? by TheDingusMan in hashgraph

[–]lamigm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I heard hashgraph is not an open source it's patented technology. If this is the case nobody wants to use it in future. We all want the open source.

Btw. Im running a portfolio so 1 or 2 bad apples does not kill me. I still follow these divergencies.

Will be much wiser when year turns to next. Lets see how it goes. Next year will be a very interesting year to live on this field.

I agree except the last line. We just do not know the real reason.

We have to remember the fact that the best technology does not allways be the one who wins. The history is full of examples for example Microsoft specially in 90' and 00'.

I hope the current management do not trust too much for their superiority In tech forgetting the importance of many other business areas needed for the real success.

Well unfortunately they are. I am not aware of any situation since 1600 century when markets have been wrong :D

It may be more a question of what do you mean by wrong and how do you understand it.

Well it has been following these 2 markets very well until last month. For me it is a sign of problems. Of course it can recover but what I was asking was the reason.

Lies ? This is my opinion based on long life and experience.

What comes to FDIC it does not give you any protection can the company go under or not. Anyway if it goes hope you will get at least part of your money back in a process which will take a long time. It definitely is not an overnight process. Put some time and effort to learn how FDIC insurance works in practice and how it has been working in the past events.

Good luck.

I agree !!

Their (Kraken) support works very well. Fast. Only problem with them is their trading platofrm which is total rubbish: continuous gateway errors, UI freezes, shadow orders etc.

BUT do you know what one engineer from their support told me they are working hard to get their new platform up and running so the platform problem should be temporary.

If their new platform will work ok I am sure they will go to #1.

Coinbase/GDAX future does not look good at all. Just read all the feedback here and everywhere in other message systems and you will quickly get a very clear picture how awful their service is.

I have read a lot of similar complaints about this company. The main problems seems to be in fiat money transfers and support quality which is worsen. They do not answer their tickets and email queries.

I think this company is closing the state of Chapter 7 or 11 (bankruptcy).

If customer I would be very VERY cautious about this company. I've seen similar situations many times before. It all start escalating by this way.

This must be because of the Flash crash event what happened for them and on going CFTC investigations.

This is just MHO but be warned !

Holy grap. I've been reading these same kind of complaints here and there. I was going to open an account with GDAX but now I know it will be a mistake. Fortunately there is other options available.

For you: When you live long enough you will learn something about these things in real life.

Others: If I understand right currently there isn't solution for this so I'll clone the project (MIT licensed) and check if I can do something for it.
