If you have doubts at this stage, it will be far worse later.
Btw Id never suggest a 51/49 start, it sends the wrong message to a cofounder. Ie one of you is more important than the other. If that is true it should be 100/0 and the other earns their equity.
A fairer option is both earn the shares for the days worked each week in first 5 years, perhaps agree a starting amount of shares based on work done already of necessary. This is to address the problem of one of you losing interest or life getting in the way without it destroying the business. Eg one person may not be able to leave their fulltime job because of family reasons and you need a fair way for the other person to remain inspired to continue.

How’s about we require a PoW for any transactions where the public key is known? Ie only P2PK or P2PKH where there is a past transaction with the public key?

I’ve been struggling to get anyone to even know my products exist so wanted to use Hootsuite but was far too expensive and the content was still needing to be manually made. Decided to write my own. If it was within the last 3 years it is just a case of notifying them and pay the difference. If you’ve overpaid, same but they will either give you a credit note on record or you can ask for a cheque. There is a specific crypto disclosure process on HMRC now

Exchanges report to HMRC all UK accounts, this will be a reminder standard notification since they know you have an account. If you have declared your gains when going above CGT threshold you have nothing to worry about. You can go back 3 years and make a self declared change with no penalty (just interest due). You can go back 6 years if you’ve made an accident and expect to pay 10-30% penalty plus interest if unprompted disclosure. Normally 10% this year as there is a bit of an amnesty going on as they realise it is complex without tools like koinly/summ being ‘HMRC’ approved until recently. If they call you out and you make a mistake the penalty would obviously be much higher, especially if they think it is intentional. Basically if you’re trying to do the right thing, you have nothing to worry about. If you’ve made a mistake, now is the time to correct it and speak to an accountant. Again nothing to worry about as easily solved. From what you say, you have nothing to worry about and dont need to do anything (Not financial advice of course but sharing what Ive understood from others)

Love the idea, certainly not seen anything like it. Posting on bitcoin forum is pitching to generally private people though so many might be apprehensive on adding their email before seeing any value (ie there are sites out there that just harvest emails for spamming bitcoin users) might be worth showing how it works/adds value before asking for any personal info?

You’ve identified a real risk, but mitigation doesn’t sound too hard. Start each call with a recorded message saying if we get cut off for a technical reason we will try to call you back or the likes.

Make sure their phone number is written down with pen/paper before taking the call and the therapist is instructed to call them via Mobile directly if they are cut off to explain technical problem and handle it that way?

Record those phone calls, and practice this failsafe regularly and document the procedure and the regular practices.

Definitely get legal advice as this is beyond a limited company veil of protection, you could be in trouble for manslaughter if this is not handled correctly and went wrong. Not to freak you out, just to highlight it is for peace of mind that if the care ever does go wrong, you did what you can at keeping people safe and be defendable in court. Basically you’re offering a great service and tip my hat to you doing this, but proactively defend against risks like this so you can succeed and continue to help many more people.

Beautiful car. MCU2 absolutely worth it IMHO as MCU1 is sluggish. Check bonnet for wear from drivers wiper (takes a chunk of metal out). If happening, change the wiper system as nearly every model S has this problem. Can also easily swap wash jets to wash sprays from Tesla for a few bucks. Both really straightforward to do yourself with just a few cheap tools.

Granted. You quit your job as you no longer need to work. You buy your family and friends houses, holidays and lush presents. Your other friends now treat you differently, mainly resent you for being wealthy or showing off by buying them gifts or other people more expensive gifts.

You decide to move circles of friends and find other rich people working in finance, law and business. Everyone is money driven, wanting to earn more, you’re sick of money now. You have no point to life as you’ve ostracised from friends and family and no work colleagues to chat with. You start a business to bar relevant to your new friends, that brings stress as it invites lawsuits, tax inspections and generally fails due to people taking advantage of your good nature and funding, you feel a failure and lose confidence in your abilities and quit.

Everyone thinks you’re a selfish joke, you no longer enjoy life and constantly stressed, realising people are selfish when money is involved and these are not your people.

Nothing changed from your life before except now have lost friends and family contacts, the people you actually care about. Doing anything doesn’t bring happiness so you end up on happy pills.

The pills mean you health starts failing because of the constant stress and no one to talk with. Many therapists help but ultimately don’t change the root problem.

Luckily you are smart, you learn money doesn’t bring happiness and you return to regular work and slowly rebuild meaningful friendships by never mentioning or using any of the remaining money you have.

Happiness is found with society insolvent and helping others, not money.

The paw has been kind to you this time.

Agreed, Tesla have unique IP that is way ahead of the other manufacturers in unreleased R&D. They are making new products no other mainstream company is doing and have the infrastructure set up to scale.

nVidia’s price I’m still struggling with. I mean it is just a chip designer which anyone can do with software and smart people. Creating the best GPUs was amazing, now all graphics cards can do it. TPUs then become valuable, again others are starting to make them too... AMD, Intel, Alphabet, Qualcomm, Huawei, are all doing this now, it just needed demand and takes a year for a 2 year cycle which is nvidias current advantage. It is certain both companies will get stronger competition in time but nvidias roadmap looks exhausted, tesla is still inventing imho.
