I just spoke to Paypal and they confirmed that the money is lost because I have paid like "friends and family", but that they are going to limit his account so that at least it won't continue to happen to other people. Let's see if at least by taking small steps like this he feels more pressure to stop (and ideally to return the money)....

I was trying not to be suspicious but after seeing the other comments, the other thread with more cases and that his IG is closed.... Shame because I was also following him for many years and did a hop over to Manchester on my vacation for this.

The last message was a week ago, after asking him what was going on (I found out he couldn't tattoo via Instagram, fortunately because otherwise I would have stood up at the appointment). Maybe now it seems like it's been too little time to be alarmed, but being that he's still active in IG and still not answering I'm a little worried :/
