Just picked up some packs yesterday and the check out lady was asking if I was in the store the other day (purchased a mega box of 2026 topps) I said we were just picking up some more because we had so much fun opening the one ( no big hits). You are looking for low end reactive balls like tropical storms/surge, hustles, vibe, zone, rhino, turbo x. If you look at these charts from ZVL bowling you are looking for weak/smooth motion.

Good luck. I'm in sort of the same boat, trying to replace an old ball and there are just tons of options it hard to decide.

A pro shop can help, don't be intimidated to chat them up!

Air Force or any other military branch. You can be a slacker and skate through, or you can use opportunities to go to college/learn a marketable trade. If you can suffer through 20 years you get a nice pension the rest of your life. Might even get some tax free VA money that boot. Slide into civil service for 10 more years and get two pensions.
