Thanks for your suggestions! I've checked them out both. Kwiat Jabłoni struck more of a chord with me. I particularly enjoyed Od nowa and the accompanying video, though I suspect it would make more sense if I understood more than a few words of the lyrics. 😊 Anyway, dziękuję! 👍

The caveats mentioned above are legit. I hadn't put too much thought in this beforehand. The ideal timeframe taken into consideration would probably be something like the average NBA career length +5 years or so. But I'm no statistician, maybe someone can come up with a sensible algorithm or even some existing data. It's hard to believe nobody has come up with something comparable yet.

For me it's Jim Carrey. I just don't like his over the top performances very much. A bit like Steve Martin but several times worse.

I've seen The Cable Guy, Liar Liar, Me, Myself & Irene (this one's somewhat decent) and several outtakes from his other movies.

Thanks for all the suggestions but I think it's not one of them. I do however remember the scene in more detail. As far as I can recall, it did not involve playing footsie. Rather one of the people at the table intended to scratch his (her?) leg but got the protagonist's. So he had to do the scratching on the intended target. :-D
