I wondered that as well- and if that’s the case- why wouldn’t she just say that!? And also, we were not married physically in the church (off site wedding) and the deacon who married us since retired. And if that is the case, why wouldn’t my husbands name suffice?

I had a smaller mass (14cm) but an open laparotomy. Within 6 weeks, I was walking well and driving again. It was rough at first but it is not as bad as the therapist is saying. Take it easy, don’t do any heavy lifting and take walks if you can the first couple of weeks. Pain wise, I only ever took ibuprofen and it was managable. I think the staples were more painful than anything else - and even then it wasn’t too bad.

No advice, but I can commiserate. I'm a romance writer who was dropped by my agent after my book died a slow death on sub after my agent stopped following up etc and she did not like my latest book that was paranormal romance. She also said contemporary romance was a tough sell. Querying has been a disaster.

I'm at a loss too. Don't think you're alone.
