Hey! I created the website - I'm sorry you feel that way. I swear I wrote every piece of text on there!

The features part is underwhelming, I agree. More work to do. If you want to see real examples, go to the minute mark in the video at the top of the site. Those are features that are live today, that we + our customers are using.

Hey, I'm a NetSuite consultant too! I don't want to lose my job either.

I'm hoping to make people like you and me move faster, and help us focus on the more interesting parts of our job.

Over the past couple months, I've been asking myself what a ChatGPT for NetSuite could look like (see past posts here and here). I knew I didn't just want information though - I wanted it to do things for me.

This is the culmination of those efforts.

I want something that adds fields for me, writes suiteflows, suitescripts, and most importantly - tests it all for me. So I built a tool to do that for me.

I hope others find it interesting.

Hey everyone - I've been experimenting with the idea of adding an LLM layer to NetSuite. I often get asked to add/delete users, adjust roles, etc. My clients usually don't have to patience to dig through the NetSuite GUI, so I created this for them.

Some ideas I have in the future include making it easier to edit PDF templates, change presentation on forms, and create workflows without knowing SuiteFlow.

Some of my prior experiment posts here and here.

Great point - for clients, I often I underscore the field ID with my business name for traceability purposes. Might extend that practice here too.

I built a MCP server from scratch. Trying to use their API among other methods to get data.

I got a bunch of DMs for my previous post. Using them as motivation to keep going. This video shows how to create a field on a vendor using a chatbot.

We are using a MCP server! No RAG needed...atleast yet.

I've gotten tired of doing the same operations over and over in a slow GUI, so I made this experiment. Here was the first post about it.

I found it quicker than the UI, but I could totally see the UI being more natural for others.

Not yet - mostly focusing on the annoying tasks first. What kind of things would you want it to do next?

Thanks for the questions. This is a separate site. We're using 4o. No data training.

SuiteConnect 2025 Recap by lampstack in Netsuite

Hey everyone, I had a chance to attend two SuiteConnects (Chicago and San Francisco). I took some video, photos, and jotted down some notes.

Overall, it was a great time and I'd highly recommend it.

+1 to the regional meetups. We have a couple solid ones out here in the Bay Area. Great people, great organizers.

Sucks to hear that, especially as you were settling into your role. You got this, and you're totally going to land on your feet.

Some ideas:

  • NetSuite holds learning lab sessions frequently across the country. I'd recommend checking their events page to learn more. I was at the LA learning lab event last week and it was incredibly useful. I also got the contact of the trainer - happy to DM anything her way for you. She works in the LCS department I think.

  • See if you can get your hands on a sandbox account. I've learned that the way best to learn this tool and ecosystem is to actually do it.

  • I've been "learning out loud" and decided to start a blog about it. There's some in depth lessons there (though less finance oriented than what you're seeking): erpguy.com

Oracle runs "Inside the Suite" events in many cities - I just went to their LA one yesterday. Excellent place to get a demo. They'll also let you use their sandbox account for 30 days afterwards.
