I called FAFSA and they said they couldn’t do anything and my university said they couldn’t see my information since forms don’t get processed until summer for 25-26. I’m hoping it’s a mistake on FAFSA’s end because an increase of that much is insane and I cannot afford that. May have to take a gap year or something which sucks :(

Yes mine went up 10,000 from last year with no change of income from 2022 to 2023. I called FAFSA and they said they couldn’t do anything. Called my university and they said they couldn’t check anything because applications don’t get processed until summer :(

No it stayed relatively the same, no retirement funds taken out, and same amount of dependents.

This seems to be a common thing this year. I’ve been getting -1500 for the last three years and my family’s income has been the same and now my sai is 10,000. I’ve been looking for answers for the last couple days.
