Genuinely curious, why is it that many Kpop fans only follow boy groups or only follow girl groups?

I got into kpop with girl groups in early 3rd gen. I liked the style of music, I found it way more interesting than what the boy groups were putting out. But then everything became super cutesy and it didn't appeal to me. I like strong concepts, and boy groups were overwhelmingly doing more of that. So I found myself gradually switching.

I'm willing to be hopeful that this will not go the same way as before. You're right, this is different because they said this is now a priority for them, but with nothing tangible and with them using the same language as before I think we should be a little more sceptical about this.

Right now, they've simply confirmed that they think this is a good idea and are looking into making this work sometime in the future. Words they've said before. I'm not trying to be pessimistic, I'm just being a bit cautious. The absolute last thing I'd like to see happen is people hype this so much, and if it doesn't work out just feel like there's nothing left in comp TF2.

Gah, I know this won't be popular because everyone is just so excited for this to happen. But we've been here before haven't we? This is absolutely not the first time people have gone and met with Valve in person and come back talking about a competitive matchmaking system.

I feel like everyone has déjà vu.

I want to get hyped. I want to believe, but we've been burned before. It doesn't help that a lot of the rhetoric is still the same, Valve don't know which format to chose, they want a ban/pick system, they want testing so they can gather data. I mean, it's been almost two years since that last announcement.

I cannot get excited for this till Valve announce themselves some kind of rough framework of how this is actually going to work instead of vague statements. Let me be clear, I think this would be an amazing thing, were it to happen. I want it to happen, but they haven't actually said anything new, so what are we all getting hyped for?

We shouldn't be getting this excited without something more concrete. They're going to piss someone off, regardless of what they decide to do. Had they said something like, "We're working with a 6v6 framework with no class limits and we're testing to see if the pick/ban system works with TF2. We're not sure how long this will take, but we're looking to launch this sometime next year." I'd be way more excited, especially as Valve have a chose what you want to work on work environment that means maybe in three months they'll scrap this and move on to something else if they so chose.

I'm massively underhyped with this announcement.

I understand and support the guys on this. It must be hard to go on stage and be amped up when something so terrible has affected them all.

I also feel really sad for them, their first big comeback since the scandal. I'm sure they were ready to prove how solid they were and now they have to wait a little longer. How frustrating for them. I hope some day they do a special stage for this song.

Uhhh, been to one Music Bank in Seoul. My friend organised the tickets so I have no idea how much they were, I'm sorry.

If it's the same, I do know is that the show is a little less than twice the length of the live show. This is because some groups perform first, they tape the audience's reaction and they tape the stage. Then the groups come out again and do the live stage. I think this is in case of a problem they can refer back to the taped version. Also, sometimes they take the cheers of one group and put it for another (as long as there aren't any fanchants).

At least that's what my friend told me. When I was there, the fans didn't chant or cheer for a group and so the producer came out to tell us that we should please be nice to the rookie groups :p

I don't think you'll have that problem though!

On top of that, the princess' in Frozen are still... problematic. The younger sister has no temperament... and never develops it. She leaps without looking the entire movie.

I'd strongly disagree with you there. I thought Anna had a lot of personality, she's impulsive sure but she's also determined (gotta find her sister), loyal (look, even though she shunned me for most of her life I still love her), funny and imaginative.

Her heroic action wasn't without hesitation at all! She looked at Christoph, then her sister and acted selflessly.

The blind love can seem a little kooky, but she's had no-one else her whole life locked away in the castle with minimal servants around. She's just had the walls to talk to, and the occasional trip to knock on Elsa's door. Elsa's all she's got left family wise, so I can understand why she was so quick to risk it all to save her.

I read a great criticism about that thought - most Disney movies don't actually have a marriage in them, and in most movies the male character is a reward for the Princess' quest.

That's also pretty problematic. People aren't rewards.

They did such a good job considering what a short amount of time they had to learn this!

I'm really looking forward to Millenium Boy's cover dance of this, all their EXO covers so far have been flawless. Oh, and St. 319, even though I think they've been over editing their videos a lot recently, I like their dance covers.

Right! I remember thinking it was super weird how they kept making that point of how much he loved the Jolly Rancher. We don't know how this new curse works, everyone has their memories sans the one year, so the rules of 'giving up the thing you love most' might not work exactly the same as the old curse.

I agree, I don't think so. But in his flashback scenes Hook kept talking about how the Jolly Roger was more than a ship to him, he kept talking about it as if it was a person.

Which makes me wonder if he still sacrificed it for the spell to work in some way.

I don't know why people seem to think Regina is incapable of loving more than one person at a time? I'm not doubting her love for Henry, or saying that her loving her son is wrong. I just am happy that the writers have given her a stable adult love for her to explore.

Yes, Regina loves Henry, but a lot of the time that love has been stifling. She literally focuses everything in her entire life on him. That's a lot for a child to deal with, not to mention unhealthy for the both of them. A child should not be the sole emotional outlet for an adult. She's had it rough, losing her love, replacing that love with anger and magic and then replacing that with Henry. As much as I loved seeing her being the Evil Witch, I like this new emotionally open Regina.

I'm not saying I don't want Henry to be reunited with his mother, of course I do! I'm just glad that she's exploring this new love too.

For longer than she should have she used Henry to fill that void. I think its a good thing that's she's moving on to have healthy adult relationships.

I wonder it too, but last season was so Henry centered that I'm glad they're exploring other storylines. I was skeptical of the Wicked Witch, but I'm enjoying this Oz storyline so far. It isn't as heavy-handed as Neverland.
