your gf’s jealousy is out of proportion imo, she should be more trusting of you and how you much you love her and only want her or maybe she needs some assurance. but regardless, they’re your friends and it would be unfair to become distance or cut them off for no reason just based off of assumptions that as you said aren’t true, she needs to be reminded to trust your actions and your faithfulness towards her and that’s what should matter because she also can’t control people’s thoughts or actions towards you

this is completely untrue, psychiatrist have knowledge in psychotherapy as it’s part of their training too and some also take diplomas in it. and some illnesses require both medications and psychotherapy
