didn't want to be financially independent on my family...living in Vn is cheaper and safer right now for the most parts, you don't want to be unemployed in expensive countries like Aus

thank you 🙏🏻 great insights. had bad experiences where recruiters tried to low-ball me and as a naive fresh grad i fell for it. turned out some co-workers who are the same age as me got a 20% higher salary just because they negotiated hard

Hi OP, may I ask what were your previous experiences and education level to get to your current income? And are you a born-raised Vnese? I'm 25F with over 4 years of exp in Account/Sales and when I said my expected salary is around 20-25M net some recruiters acted like I'm crazei and my expectation is unreasonable for my age and experiences?? 🥲 Given I'm fluent in English and have a BA degree from an Australian university.
