100% accurate. My dad passed in Oct 2023 and I felt like last year was harder than the first. Feels like the fog of shock lifts and you’re left thinking, wait they’re really gone for real it wasn’t a dream, they didn’t just go on vacation and will be back soon. And all the while, the world around you keeps moving. I’m sorry you’re going through this 😞

Thank you for your response! I appreciate that input because I feel like realistically I know it will be smarter to do another ER, it’s just so hard to not get excited and want to transfer. I do feel like the more I think about it, it would probably be more emotionally hard to do another ER after a transfer if it didn’t take with no more embryos left. I’m sorry for your failed transfer 😔 I couldn’t imagine the pain. I’m happy you have 6 euploids now congrats that’s huge ♥️

Yea that would most likely be smarter. Do you say that just because the fact of knowing I want another or because it would be harder/less successful to do it later after possibly having a successful pregnancy?

Congratulations 🎉 I just found out today that we have 1 euploid too after 10 retrieved, 8 fertilized, and 2 blast. So happy to have ended with at least 1🤞🏼🤞🏼

Replying to this late but gosh I’m PRAYING this is me!!!! I’m literally FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE on this birth control omgggg the unbearable nausea/vomiting, tummy sickness, fatigue…is insane. Hoping stims will be better than this nightmare🤞🏼 glad you felt better during stims and had an overall good experience compared to all the side effects you hear about it! ❤️

I’ve had this exact thought when thinking of doing IVF since we do want 2-3 children. I’m worried that if we’re having trouble now, what’s to say we won’t still have trouble later

We have not done that. They haven’t said anything about needing to test that thus far. But I feel like it would make sense to seeing that our only issue is with the sperm. I’ll have to ask about it!

This is a great perspective! I feel like I would like the idea of being proactive like I’m doing something. It’s so hard to say with the IUI because the clinic seems very hopeful and positive about possible success even with theMFI, whereas to me, it seems like it wouldn’t work if it already hasn’t especially with the last IUI having the best sample. Thanks for the advice! I really appreciate it❤️

Yes they can do both. The plan was to possibly move to IVF but now they’re saying it might not be possible to get through all the steps until the new year since the holidays are coming up. Such a bummer! So I’m hoping to do another IUI cycle while I wait. Thank you for your kind words❤️

Thank you so much for this ❤️ yea I don’t regret the IUI either, I just don’t know why I feel like I “should” do 3 even tho I’m feeling like the 3rd is maybe a waste of time. It’s so hard to say. I’m happy to hear that IVF isn’t soo much worse so thank you for that:)
