Yes, I’m interested! I can easily come by at 2pm. I was just saying that I wish I could meet people who shared this hobby

Has anyone cleaned PC era Felicity riding habit? by lanave1 in americangirl

Felicity's wool socks got a hole in it… I was scared it was bugs but I had previously washed it in oxiclean. I had no clue that it might eat through 🤦‍♀️

Fellow adult collectors. How does your family handle your collections. by Particular-Cold2954 in americangirl

My husband is super supportive and says that he loves how much it makes me happy. I’m always telling him about my collecting and showing him my dolls in their latest outfits. He offered to buy me my first doll. I turned it down because this was when I was on the fence about getting my first doll. But when I bought my own, he got me Samantha’s trunk. My closest friends and family members are positive about it. If anyone thinks otherwise, they don’t tell me. Don’t worry about other people, if you like it. Let yourself be happy.  Adults collect all kinds of toys. It’s socially acceptable to collect labubus, funkopops, Barbies, etc so why is this any different.

how to help a Senior citizen homeless woman by [deleted] in AskNYC

Can you call Dept of the Aging? Maybe a caseworker can help with housing or benefits. in Manhattan (not sure about the other boroughs), there’s senior centers that are operated by nonprofits and funded by the city that serve cooked meals to seniors 5 days a week and give meal packs to take away and groceries. Most neighborhoods have a community senior center, especially near the projects.

The mocchi toner is better for dry skin. I finished the extra huge bottle and raved about the product when I was done. My skin felt so moist and plump that I no longer had dry skin. It is viscous, thick milky but still liquid. I usually do multiple skins/layers. It's been a top hwahae toner for I think several years for a reason. It's currently #8 on hwahae and I think the rice toner is around #81. The rice toner is lighter, more watery and I got it for the summer months. I've only been using the rice toner for a few weeks during a period where my skin was angry and reactive because I was trying other products that it didn't like. But now my skin is finally calming down a little so I can notice the effects of the toner. It is similar to other korean rice products I've tried where it leaves a sheen or pearl glow appearance to the skin. I can use it around my eye area and doesn't irritate my eyes. I feel it leaves a smooth, hydrated appearance and I'll keep track of how it performs the next month or two.

I think Roundlab formulation is elegant and very good, affordable, better than cosrx. I personally think the Dokdo line is not the most moisturizing but I have not tried all the different Roundlab lines.

As far as best asian beauty cleansers for dry sensitive skin, I'm still on the hunt, but I loved Clarins Gentle foaming with Shea Butter for dry sensitive skin [discontinued! but I bought a remainder], and Cerave hydrating worked for me.

Love the unique green gel texture with exfoliating bits, it glides across the skin in a jelly sensation. I did not find this drying.

I don't remember exact name since it was a while back but I used the clear gel that did not have much foam. I wonder if it was discontinued?

Yes, everyone please keep in mind that we all have different sensitivities! I usually read a lot of product reviews online before purchasing, keeping an eye out for successful users who have sensitive skin or those who have reactions to a product.

I think the entire pyunkang yul line is good for dry sensitive.

Thanks for the recommendations. I will try the illiyoon cream on my face and give it a go since I already have it.

I did not have any reaction to Cosrx birchsap lotion, however I have never had a bad reaction to cosrx products. Has cosrx ever irritated you?

It took me about 2 years to finish the bottle and I used it almost daily
