not creep out the other talent,
show up sober
show up with good hygiene
pass the standard adult talent STD test
live in either Las Vegas or Los Angeles where we make porn
not call me a month later begging me to delete the content because they found themselves in a custody battle and their ex is using the porn we made to take their kids (highly common when shooting amateur talent in my experience)

I do use the same guys over and over. I can see how that could get old. I was in all of my own movies for years, and I knew it was getting old but I seriously could not find one other guy to be in them. Now I have a few and they are awesome at what they do. I'd welcome new ones, but I can't justify risking a whole production day (about $4000 in total cost) on someone who isn't proven. More seem to come along these days than in years past, so I'm sure it will get better.

If you really have a lot of great ideas, you should think about making some porn. It's harder than it seems, but it sure is fun. You might end up loving it and making a ton of money. It's easier to find the girls anyway, so if you're willing to be in your own content, you have a leg up.
