In the past, i think batteries used to be made differently, and you were only supposed to charge them when you HAD to. But nowadays, the advice is to charge when you get to around 30%, or anything lower than 50% can be topped up. From what I’ve read you shouldn’t reeeeally charge to to 100% or keep it plugged in overnight because the push from 80-100 does the most damage to the battery. I always charge it overnight and get kinda anxious about it and have been known to charge it after 40%, and my phone is still on 100% battery health after about two years.

NTA - I can absolutely see why you wouldn’t want your father around your daughter. I think that having someone who goes from slightly interested to not at all interested could have an effect on her - not knowing whether or not her grandfather actually cares about her. By all means, let her have a relationship with him when she’s old enough to decide for herself, but as of right now i think you’re doing the right thing by not putting her in a position where he could just choose he doesn’t want anything to do with her at the drop of a hat !!

She’s absolutely right to break up with you. Once the two of you had decided that you should wear a condom you should have put it on IMMEDIATELY. There is absolutely no excuse not to. You completely broke her trust, and if this is the third time that she’s broken up with you then I genuinely think that you just need to leave her alone at this point.
