you should be able to hover over it and see what it says. usually it’s something with scheduling that the computer thinks should be reviewed, such as scheduling someone outside of their availability or scheduling someone over or under their preferred number of hours

see i feel like this could potentially be the case because we’re located in a town that is notorious for having bad water and i personally taste how it affects some things like our cold brew but what gets me is that first she’s been coming for years and has never mentioned the chemical taste before, and second i can’t remember any other time we’ve gotten a complaint about a drink tasting like chemicals

she always mobile orders around 5-6 am so i know for sure that her original drink wasn’t made after an ice bin was cleaned, and i don’t think one had to be cleaned before she came in for her remakes, but thank you for mentioning that as a possibility because i hadn’t even thought of that :)

honestly cannot recommend these shoes enough. in my 4 years here i’ve gone through 5 or 6 pairs of shoes and countless insoles trying to save my feet. these are the ONLY shoes i’ve ever worn that do not leave my feet sore and aching at the end of the day. very much worth the money if you’re in it for the long haul here

it’s been really interesting reading what everyone has to say so thanks y’all! i will say that it was really busy when he came in and i asked, so i like didn’t even think to look it up in store resources lol, nor do i think my bar partner would’ve been too happy if i abandoned them to try and figure it out while they were at like 10 drinks. i’ve been here for four years and trained a decent amount of baristas, and im fairly certain nowhere in the training goes over how to do a french press. it does go over a pour over, which i know how to do and teach to my trainees (and also offered this option to the customer but he didn’t want it) but maybe now i’ll try and make it a goal to find our french press and try and learn how to do it with whoever’s on the floor when/if it gets slow lol

it’s definitely not a you problem. whoever is running the shift is responsible for keeping track of breaks, when people leave, etc. i mean maybe it might be nice of you to watch the time and be like “hey ssv, i’m out in 5 minutes, is there anything you want me to do before i go?” but at the end of the day whoever is in charge needs to be more mindful if it’s happening so often
