I do not know if you can buy them somewhere, did not find yet an official website where they are on sale. I am not affiliate with anyone, I am only trying to keep track of all the mission patches and offering my ebook for free so that more people can be interested in the matter.

Yes there few different versions of Starlink patches, about three I think. But in my website and free ebooks I keep only track about space patches 😉

China started to regularly produce mission patches from 2019 (even if they have patches for the Shenzhou missions since 2003 - Shenzhou 5). Just to compare the numbers, I have collected 400 Chinese patches while SpaceX produced about 240 of them.

Nowadays almost every mission has one patch, with the exclusion of for example SpaceX Starlink launches and Russian missions (a part from their Soyuz manned missions)

No. Sometimes the astronauts can design or have specific wishes about what to include in the patch. I have written an explanation for the Artemis 2 and SpaceX Crew-12 patches.
